Litigation Paralegal / Experienced Legal Assistant
We are seeking a litigation paralegal or experienced legal assistant with meaningful experience supporting active civil litigation. This is not an entry-level position.
The role primarily supports a partner and involves day-to-day litigation coordination from pleadings through resolution. Our litigation practice focuses on HOA and construction-related disputes, and the position is intended for someone who understands how litigation actually moves.
This is a small, busy firm with a straightforward approach to case management. The role is hands-on and requires comfort managing litigation files, deadlines, and coordination with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:

Manage litigation files and calendars from inception through resolution

Track deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements

Draft and coordinate pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and notices
-
File documents through the Florida e-portal and work with clerks and opposing counsel

Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
-
Review, organize, and manage discovery materials
-
Maintain organized electronic files and trial materials
-
Provide day-to-day litigation support to attorneys
Qualifications:
-
Prior experience as a litigation paralegal in a civil litigation practice

Familiarity with litigation procedures, deadlines, and court rules

Experience coordinating discovery, depositions, and hearings
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple active cases at once

Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
Systems and Tools:

Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Teams, OneDrive)
Compensation:
Salary depends on litigation experience and level of responsibility.
